Built from a Simple Idea

What if more people could enjoy the best parts of golf without needing the time, experience, or pressure that often comes with the traditional game?

RYZ was built for par-3 and short courses because those are the places where golf already feels more approachable. The rounds are shorter. The holes are manageable. The atmosphere is more relaxed.

The goal was never to replace golf.

The goal was to create a different kind of round.

One with more shots in play, more people involved, and more moments worth celebrating.

Why RYZ Was Built

Golf is a great game.

But for a lot of people, it isn't always easy to enjoy.

Long rounds. Frustrating shots. Lost balls. The pressure of trying to play well.

Yet when people talk about their favorite rounds, they rarely talk about their score.

They talk about the friends they played with.

The shot they didn't expect to hit.

The putt that somehow dropped.

The laughs walking to the next tee.

That's the part of golf worth holding onto.

RYZ was built around a simple idea:

What if there was a different kind of round? One designed for par-3 and short courses, where more shots stay in play, more people can join, and the experience becomes the story.

That idea became RYZ.

THE EXPERIENCE IS THE STORY

The best rounds aren't remembered because of the score. They're remembered because of the people you played with.

MORE SHOTS IN PLAY

RYZ was built to create more moments worth celebrating throughout the round.

BRING MORE PEOPLE IN

A different kind of round built for friends, families, trips, after-work rounds, and anyone who enjoys a good game.

The Person Behind RYZ

Ned Lockwood — Founder, RYZ Golf

RYZ didn't start with an instructor or a scratch golfer.

It started with someone who simply enjoys being out on a course with friends and family — and has experienced plenty of great shots, along with plenty that ended up in the trees, the water, or a few feet in front of the tee box.

After enough rounds like that, a simple question kept coming up:

Why doesn't a version of golf exist that keeps the best parts of the game and makes it easier for more people to enjoy?

That question became an idea.

The idea became equipment.

The equipment became RYZ Golf.
